2011 Event Highlights
The South Florida Jazz Hall of Fame
Sunday, June 5th - the 2nd annual South Florida Jazz Hall of
Fame installation ceremony took place at Miami's Joseph Caleb Auditorium.  Being at the Caleb, we naturally used the opportunity to honor the memory of Chief Sandrell Rivers. As  many  of  you  know,  Ms. Rivers was a major contributor, perhaps the catalyst behind the transformation of  the Caleb Center into the thriving hub of community services and activities that it is today. In honor of her quest to bring the arts to every community in the Miami- Dade County area, it's our quest to keep her legacy alive.
