Where Jazz, History and Community Meet
What began in 1986 as a commitment to supporting jazz and the artists who create it has grown into four decades of performances, education, preservation and community.
Sunshine Jazz Organization has created stages for emerging and established musicians, brought generations of jazz lovers together, and helped preserve the music and stories that make South Florida’s jazz community so special.
Forty years later, the mission continues: honor the music, support the artists and make sure jazz has a place to thrive for generations to come.
Sunshine Jazz Organization programming is presented with support of Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and Cultural Affairs Council, Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners.
